Around along the Vltava

The beginning of the trip is based on the rental of electric bikes in sports-deep relaxation area.

This tour takes you along the riverside of Hluboka Czech Budejovice in town where you can relax in a park near the Water Tower, a spectacular square in the historic center of the city or anywhere near the river. A pleasant path leads along the right bank of the Vltava River, where the paved surface. Alternatively, on the left, where the asphalt surface, which is a popular place for cyclists, skaters and joggers.

Water reservoir tower

Water Tower is one of the technical monuments of the Czech Budejovice. Its construction was completed in 1724, which was the main source of water for Samson fountain on the square of Premysl Otakar II.

During the 20th century, the tower lost its function because of the height options and was gradually transformed into a certified test water meters.

Nowadays it is possible to visit the tower as part of guided tours, where you will learn the story of the water and the interpretation is completed screenings. 

Observatory and planetarium in Budweis

Premysl Otakar II. square

In the center of Czech Budweis you will find several important objects Budějce (city designated as local) famed. It is a baroque town hall building, the Baroque Samson fountain and Black Tower.

Museum of South Bohemia

The main building of the South Bohemian Museum is located on Senovážné Square. Permanent exhibition "The Story of the Czech Budejovice" complement the current exhibition.

Dominican monastery

Piarist Square is the place where the city itself was founded by Czech Budejovice in 1275 on a greenfield site. Therefore, we can monastery in the square declared one of the oldest buildings in the Czech Budejovice.

ČEZ Areál Vltava

On the exit from České Budějovice by the cycle path to Hluboká nad Vltavou, on the left bank of the river, there is the ČEZ Vltava sports and relaxation complex.

There is a children's playground, workout gym, parkour obstacles and 6 beach volleyball courts. There is also a refreshment area with an observation deck and a stage. By the water, there is a swimming pier with a grass and sandy beach.

As the cycle path passes through the area, visitors are asked to be careful and considerate when moving along the cycle path.

Water sports center České Budějovice

Artificial channel in the Czech Vrbné offers many activities on the water, to eliminate. Artificial canal uses water from the Vltava River and is located on the cycle path that leads from the Czech Budejovice deep.

Park Hluboká

Park Hluboká is one of the largest places for active leisure and family entertainment in South Bohemia. It is located close to the Vltava River and the popular cycling path connecting České Budějovice with Hluboká nad Vltavou.

The pleasant surroundings offer a great combination of movement, fun and relaxation for visitors of all ages. Families with children will appreciate the children's rope playground and other fun attractions, while older visitors can try the larger rope courses of the adventure park or the climbing walls.

Hluboká castle

Pearl of South Bohemia Hluboka Castle. State chateau administered by the National Heritage Institute is one of the most visited places in the South Region.
