The main building of the South Bohemian Museum is located on Senovážné Square. Permanent exhibition "The Story of the Czech Budejovice" complement the current exhibition. 

In addition to traditional exhibitions, the museum also organizes lectures, workshops, museum night or evening guided tours of the city.
